Five friends and I went to Looe in Cornwall (the shark fishing centre of the UK), for a days shark fishing. We had no luck until about 2.30pm when we were pulling in our 6 rods. Then we had a strike and as luck would have it, it was my rod. This is just an except from the full movie. I am pleased to say that as per the rules of shark fishing in the UK, the shark was tagged for future identification and so that the Shark Fishing Club of GB can inform me when it is caught again and let me know how it has grown etc. It was then returned to the sea to carry on growing.

After eventually getting this magnificent specimen up for a chat and a few pics, she bid us a fond farewell. Im continually amazed by how many sharks we catch and release, mainly Makos and Blues, despite only using the 60-80lb traces and 6/0 circle hooks we use for Tuna and they all go home in good condition.
